Requirements For the Job!
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably chemical engineering.
- Training as a Senior Technician in Prevention with the three specialties (Safety, Hygiene, and Ergonomics).
- Minimum of two years of experience in a similar position.
- Microsoft Office 365, intermediate to advanced level.
- English: Intermediate to advanced level, spoken and written (B1).
Responsibilities:
Implement, develop, and monitor the processes, systems, and indicators of Occupational Risk Prevention, providing solutions and raising awareness within the organization about the importance of this function.
- Identify and evaluate safety and health risks, proposing the necessary preventive/corrective measures in the annual PRL action plans.
- Develop the preventive activities assigned to the prevention function and those derived from participation in assigned projects.
- Suspend activities and situations of serious and/or imminent risk to the safety and health of workers, informing the superior and the Corporate Prevention area.
- Advise the organization on PRL aspects to ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements in each project, making contributions to achieve them.
- Identifying hazards: Identifying potential hazards in the workplace
- Implementing safety programs: Implementing and overseeing safety and hygiene programs in the workplace
- Ensuring compliance: Ensuring compliance with government regulations and industry standards
- Training employees: Training employees on safety procedures and emergency response tactics
- Maintaining records: Maintaining records of incidents, inspections, and corrective actions
